He is now one of the few Tampa discount real estate agents in the Tampa Bay area (Tampa, St. petersburg, Clearwater, Palm Harbor and Hernando County). Cary was also the Vice President of Sales for two large Tampa New Home Builders and also for a large new home builder in Myrtle Beach, SC. This extensive knowledge in the New Home Industry inspired him to develop a NEW HOME DISCOUNT program that would allow a direct buyer of a new home in Florida to share in the real estate commissions that are available in the price of most new homes.
Most builders depend heavily on real estate agents to sell their homes, and therefore include a 3% realtor commission within their pricing structure. Since the builders do not want to compromise the relationship they have with these realtors, they will not negotiate out the commission with a direct buyer who comes in the model center without a real estate agent.
